The Widespread Panic team are good friends of ours. We have been working with them almost as long as we have R.E.M. We have built the last two official websites for the band and we were super excited to be asked by the team to design the new livewidespreadpanic.com
Livewidespreadpanic.com is an incredibly popular website where fans from around the globe can go to buy recordings of single songs, and entire shows from the Widespread Panic’s live performances over their career. The catalog goes back as far as 1989! You could literally get lost looking through it. We were excited to imagine an intuitive interface and responsive experience for the user that allows them to easily find and buy songs by date, location, city, and song name and are very excited about the designs we came up with. We wireframed out the entire site, built motion demos for the User Experience, and then built photoshop files for every page and delivered them to the team at http://www.nugs.net to build the site. This is another example of one of the websites that we designed the UI, UX, and all screens of the website for but did not build.
Widespread Panic is another one of our beloved clients and we look forward to working with them to fulfill any of their future needs. Maybe you should give livewidespreadpanic.com a visit and find that live recording from the show you were at that you didn’t know existed.
